Salespeople hate double work. When a quote is made, you want your CRM to know, without retyping everything. Think beforehand about three things.
1. What is the trigger?
Do you send a quote to the CRM as soon as it is made, as soon as it is sent, or only on approval? Many teams choose approval or decline, so the CRM only contains real outcomes.
2. Which data goes along?
- Customer name and contact details
- Subject and summary of the conversation
- Total amount and status of the quote
- A link to the quote
3. Where does it end up?
In HubSpot or Pipedrive that is usually a deal with a note. Agree how you name deals, so you can find them.
Token or login
With some systems you connect with a personal key (token), with others you log in and give consent. Both can be safe, as long as keys are stored encrypted.
Dealnote connects with HubSpot and Pipedrive through a token, with monday.com, and with Zoho CRM and Salesforce through login. You choose yourself whether the integration works automatically on approval and decline.
