Conversion is the share of your quotes that become a job. Small improvements add up quickly.
1. Respond fast
Whoever sends a clear proposal first often has a head start. Read quote within an hour.
2. Start with the customer's wish
Put what the customer wanted in the summary, in their own words. That way they feel heard.
3. Be clear about what is included
Show what is included and what is not. Unclear points raise questions.
4. Make approval easy
A customer who can sign online does not have to print anything. See getting a quote signed digitally.
5. Follow up
A short follow-up email after a few days often works. See follow-up emails.
6. Offer choices
Give options, for example basic and extended. That way the customer chooses what fits, instead of yes or no.
7. Measure what works
Track how many quotes you send and how many are approved. Only then can you see what to improve.
