Quote software varies enormously: from a simple generator to a full sales system. Ask yourself these questions first.
About your work
- How many quotes do you make per week? For a few, something simple will do; for many, automation pays off.
- Do you make them on site or at your desk? On site you need an app or web app that works on your phone.
- How long does it take now? Measure it. That is your baseline for calculating the gain.
About the package
- Can you use your own products and prices? Importing from Excel or an integration saves a lot.
- Does it calculate smartly? For example with calculation rules per situation, so quantities are right.
- Can the customer sign online? And can you see whether they opened the quote?
- Can you carry on to an invoice? Without retyping everything.
About the business side
- Where is your data? For customer data and recordings, an EU location and a clear retention period matter.
- What does it really cost? Look at price per user, per quote or per minute, and what happens when you grow.
How to choose
Make a short list of two or three packages, run a trial with a real quote and measure the time. The package with which you get a quote ready fastest that you would dare to send wins.
Dealnote starts with a free plan, and you can try it without an account. See the pricing.
