Window frames differ in size, material, glazing, colour and finish. Without structure the quote quickly becomes an unreadable list.
Work per frame or per room
Give each frame its own line with a number or a name, such as *front elevation living room*. That way the customer sees which frame has which price, and you can easily change something later.
What belongs on each line
- Dimensions (width and height).
- Material and colour (PVC, wood, aluminium).
- Glazing, with type and insulation value.
- Opening direction and hardware.
- Ventilation provisions, such as vents.
Work around the delivery
- Removal and disposal of the old frame.
- Fitting, sealing and finishing inside and outside.
- Possibly repair of brickwork and painting.
- Lead time and schedule.
Make differences in approach clear
If you offer options, for example higher-grade glazing, list them separately. The customer chooses, and you do not have to make a second quote.
Measuring is crucial
A mistake in the size is expensive. Note dimensions during the conversation, check them again and take photos of the situation.
Calculating fast
With a price list per type and a formula based on dimensions (for example price per m²) you work out a new quote in minutes.
Import your price list into Dealnote and let calculation rules determine the price per frame. See construction and maintenance.
